Advancement of Individuals’ Rights

History and Purpose

The idea of The FAIR emerged out of the various experiences that the conceptualizer had over three decades and these experiences have informed a resolve to establish a facility that would be devoted to promoting and protecting the rights of others.  The violation of the rights of others, which have been observed, has not been limited to intellectually vulnerable or marginalized individuals.  Some of the individuals whose rights have been violated are otherwise intellectually capable but lack the financial resources to access legal help.

The Foundation for the Advancement of Individuals’ Rights (The FAIR) was conceptualized as a not-for-profit entity which would be engaged in supporting persons who are at distinct disadvantage in advocating for and accessing certain rights.
